This Feelings Journal is geared towards teens and young adults and offers specific information about different types of emotions. Each emotion is depicted within a photograph and specific face clues are given to help recognize this emotion in others. A journal activity is included with each emotion that helps the reader draw connections between the abstract concept of each emotion and how it relates to everyday experiences.
The appendix of this notebook includes a Brainstorming page that will identify a challenging emotion currently being dealt with and the specific problem or people that are involved. The format will help list a few strategies for handling the situation and their expected consequences or results.
